The Rough Draft of the Script
The first step was creating a rough draft of the script. This was all about getting the basic structure of the story down on paper. I focused on the main ideas, the flow of events, and the overall tone I wanted to achieve. At this stage, I didn’t worry too much about perfect dialogue or finer details—this was my chance to lay out the skeleton of the skit and see how the narrative could unfold.
Finalizing the Script
Once I had my rough draft, I worked on typing out a more polished version of the script. This involved further structuring each scene with finer details to ensure each shot makes sense and flows into the next, making sure it all made sense and kept the audience engaged. This version of the script felt much more cohesive, but I knew I wasn’t quite done yet.

Collaboration with My Partner
After I was happy with the draft, I consulted with my partner. We discussed every aspect of the script—what worked, what didn’t, and where improvements could be made. Their input was valuable in helping me see things from a different perspective. We made some final tweaks, but also weren't perfectionists about it as this is our first time doing this. By the end, we were both confident that we had a solid script we could move forward with.
Teamwork is also very important our combined efforts make up the final piece, and I made sure I was in connection and understanding with my partner throughout eh whole process
Creating the Storyboard
With the script finalized, it was time to visualize the skit. My partner created a picture sheet that broke down each scene. For every scene, she included an illustration (or rough sketch) and accompanying text that described the setting, actions, and key moments. This was crucial for getting a clear picture of the pacing, transitions, and overall flow of the skit. It helped me see how the story would unfold visually, which is vital when planning shots.
